Counselor Mhanny Youssef: Egypt’s Stable Economic Climate Is a Strategic Opportunity for Local and International Investors
Mr. Mhanny Youssef, lawyer and international legal advisor, stated that Egypt is currently witnessing a remarkable and increasing influx of Arab and foreign investments, reflecting growing confidence in the Egyptian investment climate under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

In exclusive remarks to Al-Wafd Portal, Youssef explained that the political stability Egypt enjoys, along with internal security, is among the most prominent factors encouraging investors to inject capital into the Egyptian market—whether in industrial, service, or technological sectors.
He confirmed that these financial inflows directly reflect Egypt’s pivotal political role in the region and its regional and international influence, as politics and economics are two sides of the same coin. Where there is political stability, the economy improves; where there is wise leadership and clear vision, the business environment flourishes and investments flow.
Mr. Youssef pointed out that Egypt, with its strategic weight and location, still holds a significant edge in the regional and international competitiveness scale, despite the intensifying competition among countries to attract investments. Egypt’s infrastructure, legal framework, and clear reform vision continue to make it a preferred investment destination.
The international legal advisor added that, through his experience accompanying investors in Egypt, the Gulf, and the United Kingdom, he closely monitors developments in Egypt’s legal and economic environment. His firm has observed the state’s intensive efforts to overcome global economic challenges, update the legislative structure, and sustainably improve the business climate.
He believes that Egypt’s legislative advancements form a strong foundation for launching toward broader horizons of international competitiveness. He stressed that the current digital transformation challenges represent a strategic opportunity for the Ministry of Industry and Investment to enhance service efficiency and accelerate procedures through the thoughtful expansion of digital transformation applications.
He added that accelerating automation and improving the quality of electronic services would earn Egypt additional points in international competitiveness rankings and increase the appeal of the Egyptian market in the eyes of investors, who prioritize “time” and “ease of procedures” above all.
Dr. Mohanny concluded his statement by affirming that the current phase presents a genuine strategic opportunity for both local and international investors, in light of a promising reform environment and strong political will—led by a steadfast national army, capable police, efficient and fair judiciary, and wise leadership confidently advancing toward a prosperous economic future.
