Mr. Mhanny Youssef represents a model of the institutional lawyer who combines solid academic grounding with extensive international practical experience. His professional career spans complex legal matters and the delivery of high-level legal services. His name has become closely associated with the development of legal practice, not only through professional work, but also through his active contribution to training and preparing new generations of lawyers in line with modern professional standards.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Mr. Mhanny Youssef obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Faculty of Law, Cairo University – Beni Suef Branch, in 2003. He further enhanced his professional qualifications through advanced training in English language and computer skills in 2004. He continued to develop his expertise by earning a number of diplomas and specialized certifications in negotiation and contract drafting, international contract management, international commercial arbitration, and dispute resolution in international contracts, from accredited academic and arbitration institutions in Cairo and Alexandria between 2010 and 2017.
Professional Memberships
Mr. Mhanny Youssef holds memberships in several specialized professional bodies, including the Egyptian Bar Association since 2004, the Arab Lawyers Union since 2008, and the Cairo International Arbitration Center as an International Arbitration Consultant since 2010. He is also a member of the Arab Union for the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights, the Arab Arbitration Center, and the Arab Association for Legal Sciences and Translation.
Professional Experience
Mr. Mhanny Youssef has over twenty years of professional experience in legal affairs and corporate legal departments for international companies within the Arab Republic of Egypt and abroad. He began his legal career in Egypt, then moved to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he worked with leading law firms and progressed through senior legal positions, eventually serving as Head of the Legal Department for one of the largest holding companies in Riyadh.
He later founded an international law firm with offices in Egypt and London, providing innovative and effective legal solutions that meet clients’ needs at both the local and international levels. He also has extensive experience in representing Egyptians abroad, particularly in serious criminal cases and State Security matters, earning the trust of Egyptian communities overseas as well as relevant legal and institutional bodies.
Training and Legal Capacity Building
Alongside his professional practice, Mr. Mhanny Youssef serves as legal advisor to a number of major organizations and institutions in Egypt, supporting them through strategic legal advice and solutions. Within his firm, he established a dedicated department for lawyer training, aimed at transferring practical and academic expertise and refining professional skills, thereby contributing to the preparation of a new generation of lawyers aligned with the requirements of modern legal practice.
Mr. Mhanny Youssef is also a distinguished legal trainer who has participated in developing legal teams within international companies and has delivered specialized training programs that integrate academic foundations with practical application. In addition, he has contributed to training courses organized by the Faculty of Law at Assiut University.
